1. http://www.blogmastermind.com/ Yaro Starak teaches you how to make money with your blog. He gives away a Blog Profits Blueprint free, which is filled with easy how to's that can get you started right away. He has more you can learn by joining his classes, which does cost money. His Blueprint gives you more than enough to start without that.

2. http://www.problogger.net/ Another excellent site that can teach you how to create fabulous posts that readers will come back to over and over, plus much much more on anything about blogging.

3. http://www.dailyblogtips.com/ This site also helps you with design, projects, basics, domain names, making money, and much more.

I put these in the order they've helped me get started. I haven't followed all their advice. I joined blogger.com because I wanted to get started and I was too intimidated to try to start my own from scratch. I needed all the back up I could get!
